sawicki 0 Posted January 9, 2007 What would happen if you cut her into half? Great shine on her lips and the blue eye really gets into you. Good portrait. Link to comment
davyjo 0 Posted January 9, 2007 I like this a lot. Very evocative. I wonder if it's impact would be greater if the right hand side were blacked out. Same suggestion as the last comment I suppose. I found myself distracted looking for detail in the darkness. The lighting/ exposure is marvelous. Link to comment
steven_barall 0 Posted January 9, 2007 Hello, Comming up with the solution you did for wanting to photograph her blue eyes is really creative and inspired. Your feeling for color and overall tastefulness are just perfect and wonderful. You use of the sweeping shapes of her right shoulder and her hair along with the beautiful use of color all work together perfectly. The distribution of all the space in the photo works perfectly to make me see just what you want me to see. I one thing I would say about the structure of the photo is that maybe her face doesn't look like it's perfectly square to the camera which might be a physical thing or just the lighting. If her face looked off to the side just the littlest bit more maybe the photo would not work as well but thats just something to be aware of for the future. That is really a small point though compared to all of the other beautiful stuff going on in the photo. Do you think that maybe her hair in the front should not be showing any skin through it? It's interesting because at first look, the photo looks very graphic and almost cold as if she is really just a mannequin but actually, it's a really sexy photo of her. Thanks for the photo. adrian-duffy 0 Posted April 26, 2007 Larisa, This is simply a stunning portrait, very haunting and quite the best I have seen in a long time. Easily the best I have ever seen on photo.net. Its only rival is on your website and that is Katrien5. Keep up the excellent standard. Link to comment
