Very good take on the "Pearl Earing" and I congratulate you on this. The earing is dwarfed a bit though and you may want to work on the tones and textures a bit. It's a tad plasticky for my taste and this is meant as an act or encouragement and NOT to undermine your fine work.

Very nicely arranged. The pearl is nearly invisible, though, and the post-processing seems to have turned the skin-tone into am unnatural plastic look. If I recall correctly, the tunic in Vermeer's original was also a little lighter shade, while this one almost merges with the background.

Still, a very nice portrait by itself.
