Climbing a White Pine on Cod Pond

Is this an interesting idea for a photo?

Devin...this is an interesting idea for a photo. There are a couple of technical problems, but that is okay, this is all a learning experience for everyone on this site, regardless if one considers themselves a "pro" or not. I think I see what you are doing here....using the limbs to "frame" the shot..right? That is a great technique for interesting shots, and adds a lot of depth to images. For this particular shot, I wish you could have moved to the right a bit more, and gotten the mountains more in the image, but there was probably a 100ft drop off or something next to you wasn't it? I hate it when that happens. :)) The only other critique is that the sky is "washed out" or overexposed. That is understandable if you are not using any filters. Keep at it, because when the day is over, isn't it FUN!!! Regards...LJ
