jan_piller 0 Posted December 16, 2006 This would look a whole lot better if it were blown into mural size and hanging on my wall!! Every so often a bird photo comes along that just blows me away and this is one of them - it's so unique! I love how the light catches his tail feathers and wing feathers! Link to comment

steppenwolf 0 Posted December 17, 2006 This one is just about perfect composition (also a good crop to make that happen) Sometimes bird photos for apparent no reason, are composed off-centered and I have seen people even suggesting to off center portrait like photos. The off centered framing here is natural and makes it really beautiful as well. This one has the head at the 1/3rds, with the wing spanning out perfectly. The flares at the left and right top could have been distracting except that they are balanced out by the translusence of the wings which makes it appear all natural. Great shot! Link to comment
fiona madden 0 Posted December 17, 2006 WOW you know there's nothing I would change about this! The composition is fab and I know how difficult it is to get this when you're photographing birds! Nice crop! Love it Link to comment
eduardocarrasco 0 Posted December 18, 2006 nice shot, well done, I like the tinalities Link to comment
billywebb 0 Posted December 18, 2006 near enough perfect. black and white are the two extremes in contrast, resulting in difficult exposures. I think a little more detail in the eye would be better, But this is still blowing me away. 7/7 Link to comment
