I like the composition and the contrast. It make me think about a blanket!?Good shoot.Maybe the frame is too large.

Keep shooting

Such a photo, oustanding perspective, composition and perfect tonal range for an evocative image. Very well done Laurent!

Nice shot. It is mystical and mythical. Agree with he comment about the frame. I think a thin black would work better. Nevertheless, it has a wonderful classic look to it. Cheers

Thanks Paulo, Rabinder, Jitka, Carlos and David for your nice comments. Paulo and David, I agree with your comment about the frame and uploaded a version with a smaller one.

Wonderful mood and smooth gradations. The color shift from left to right adds additional appeal.

Thanks Matthias...a funny story here (at least for me)...I always thought that places for decent nature and landscape shots would require me to go far away from home...this is just 400m away...in fact there are houses and even building nearby that would ruin the mood...the fog and light on that particular morning created the image.

Hi Laurent, I love your work and this is just another example of your unique eye. The scene is beautiful and moody and filled with mystery. I have to say that I would would have been to in a hurry to notice this scene and thats what I love about your work. You walk slowly and breath everything in. YOu take the time to photograph what moves you and ultimately us. I still say your photos are like music : ). Thank you for everything, and have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Best wishes

Ester

a few 100'th meters from my home..normally the far background is with houses and building but with the fog it is transformed into something totally different...
