lesa jones 0 Posted December 16, 2006 You go girl!! I have been trying for a shot such as this for a while. I always get too distracted by attempting to capture a larger mass of the moss. Congrats on a wonderful shot! Regards...LJ Link to comment
kharper1 82 Posted December 16, 2006 Fantastic image. The shape and positioning of the moss is perfect. I might have been tempted to clone out the water drop top center. Regards, Keith Link to comment

LindaM 2 Posted December 17, 2006 thank you everybody! Andre, coming from you, that is quite a compliment!!! Lesa, keep trying. spanish moss is such a cool plant. i'd love to see what you come up with Keith, i will have to give some thought to cloning out that drop, or possibly re-framing this just a hair to get the tip of the moss that it is hanging from. thanks for pointing it out. Sarah, thanks, and Merry Christmas to you too. i'm still thinking about that trip..is it too late to get in on it? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 18, 2006 Wonderful composition and tones. Quiet somehow, with a calming effect on the mind. Really nice! Link to comment
sakke 0 Posted April 29, 2008 A great poem. (a great poet) I just happened to stop and comment here. I have been admiring your portfolio. You have many great pictures. Now I will have to get some sleep, but will be returning..best regards, Sakke Link to comment
pjduncan 0 Posted May 18, 2008 I echo all the complements... very nicely done. I'm curious, do you use filters in shooting or post processing. The softness of the background somehow doesn't seem just from shallow DOF... very pleasing, but it seems more of a softening like one would get through a piece of slightly frosted glass. Whatever the case, you've got a wonderful photo. Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted May 24, 2008 Phillip, thank you for spending so much time commenting and critiquing my work! i really appreciate it. the background is a fairly decent distance which is why it appears as though it was through a frosty filter. also it was a rather misty morning, so i think the moisture in the air helped.
