shima_rohani1 0 Posted March 8, 2008 that sounds energetic while amongst waves still a vertical stand exist. it gives the power of challenge with stronger and to be the one and alone but alive...the contrast is a break especially with black lantern and white waves, gives the assurance sense, thank you. cecamde 0 Posted March 17, 2008 It is almost surreal!! I just saw other photos of this lighthouse on the web and they too show the huge waves. Yours not only shows the waves, but also the spectacular force of the sea. You have demonstrated your vision by choosing an angle that really makes the eye follow from the towering wave down to the calm sea below the Mouro on the first plane of the photo. It is awesome! Congratulations!! Link to comment
sandy_guillory 0 Posted March 20, 2008 Forget about the birds and nature, this is absolutely a once in a lifetime shot to me. EVERYTHING is captured here. Light action talent! But where and what shutter speed? Another good reason to stay out the water. The Meemster Link to comment
mark_onat 0 Posted March 21, 2008 Phenomenal shot of course. It may have been shot in color, but then turned into b&w after the fact, a great option of digital. There is a sort of filmic quality to it, so maybe it was shot in b&w. I looked up Mouro Island in Spain, and it doesnt look like the right terrain for this shot, namely the high background, which made me think Pacific Coast. Anyway, great job. Looks like you got pretty wet....or used a great long lens... Link to comment
kinega 0 Posted March 22, 2008 Awesome subject. You have captured the power & scale of the waves perfectly. Mono conversion works well Link to comment

BelaMolnar 2 Posted May 23, 2008 It is a well executed PS work, but not proportional. The lighthouse not matching to the rocks and to the wave, proportionally. Also! The background hills proving all this. And one more thing! The wave going over the rocks and falling in-front of the lighthouse, also not proportional. And for the last, the lighthouse top and the windows don,t have a chance to survive in the first wave. It is simple water dynamic. Most of the people just mesmerized by the view, and don't see the visual conflict in the image. If I am wrong, then, maximum meaculpa. Cheers; Bela Link to comment
