A great example of superb HDR. Usualy I don't like most HDR shots - those look somewhat plastic, lacking a depth, oversaturated... This one is very subtle and well perfomed.

I totally agree. Most HDR look horrid and overdone. This is how it is meant to be. Fantastic photo, Micah. Cheers.

Thank you for your comments. I agree that most HDR images are over done and look fake. I love the ability that HDR provides in expanding the tonal range, but most people don't know how to apply and are way too heavy handed. I try to make mine look like a natural scene not something that looks like an illustration.

Beautiful shot, love the color....did you use a polarizer?

Forgive my ignorance, but, what is HDR? also, I see now that the filter wasn't a polariser, but what type was it? and do I need to buy one to get this kind of shot? Thanks in advance for any advice .... Dave :)
