kellyphillips 0 Posted December 4, 2006 I would like some advice with this. This is a photo of light going through a prism on my front door and landing on the sandstone of my fireplace. This image looks different before I save it for photo.net. I saved as a jpg in photoshop. The only reason I used Photoshop is to resize. Why am I losing quality when I save in photoshop? Any advice appreciated. Is there another way to resize without PS? Link to comment
guillermo calles 0 Posted December 4, 2006 Many people use the PS for resize, is a good tool. I like me very much your photo. in Outdoor Photographer magazzine i saw a this technique with a rainbow in Yellowstone Park. regards Guillermo my rate 6/6 Link to comment
sunshinekolasinski 0 Posted December 4, 2006 I use paintshop pro, I imagine some of the same issues would arise. What resolution did the original picture start with vs. end up with? You also might want to ENHANCE edges, sharpness etc. or even up the saturation for a stronger rainbow? Link to comment
kellyphillips 0 Posted December 4, 2006 The only resolution that I could find was 72 pixels per inch, it was the same after resize. Is that the number I need to be looking at? I don't know anything about resolution. Link to comment
johnrmath 0 Posted December 5, 2006 I use a a different resizer than PS. You could try that and see if there is any difference. If you want email me. Thanks John Math Link to comment
