dbcooper 0 Posted December 2, 2006 Looks a little underexposed where the subject (the gun) is concerned. I like the photo, and it definitely has visual impact. Great idea! Link to comment
kcole 0 Posted December 4, 2006 Creative, creative, creative, Thats what this is, a little more light and I think you might be spot on with this one... Cheers Cole Link to comment
jlambuth 0 Posted December 5, 2006 Some more light and a bit more contrast would bring you one heck of a great photo. Alot of my scans from negatives and slides either come out too dark or too light so finding the right balance usually means an afternoon working on fine tuning. A very creative image though! pressuredbyphotons 5 Posted December 8, 2006 Your friend has a nice posterior. This brings back memories of Flint or Matt Helm. Link to comment
hugh_hill 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Neil, this is a great picture, I knew it as soon as I set eye's on it and I prefer your version because it is supposed to be dark as it reflects the true nature of the image but just for those who want to see more light...here it is. (hope you don't mind me working on your image.) Hugh Link to comment
neilpeters 0 Posted December 18, 2006 I'm honored you took the time and interest to do that Hugh, thank you :) Since its a scanned print, a bit of detail is lost in translation, but all of the pistol is clearly seen in the original. The owner of the pistol got a 16x20 print which made the gun lifesize, and detailed, via the 6x4.5 negative. Again, thanks Hugh. Link to comment

andreas tsonides 0 Posted December 28, 2006 This one is great. It has the perfect mood and narrative to make an excellent cover for a Raymond Chandler's book. Just great! 6/7 Link to comment
