Kostas Angelopoulos 0 Posted November 23, 2006 besides :) :) should i crop it more? enjoy and thanks everyone :) Link to comment
arash khoshghadam 0 Posted November 23, 2006 No cropping is needed as the downpour's spatter on the ground is c omplement to your shot and completes the story. It's very funny how the man is shielding himself under the huge trunk. The woman on the right is also subordinate to the point of interest in your shot. You were so brave to have been standing there under the downpour to take this shot. Well-done. Link to comment
mpentek 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Very original and nice idea. Tough aesthetics is not too good.. Link to comment
yianni 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Very original! Mat, aesthetics is always problem in such occasions. How about this one Kwsta? Link to comment
Kostas Angelopoulos 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Arash hi! thank you for taking the time, for your nice comment and your help. Great to hear from you! Mat...my boy,.. peace :) i wasn't intent to get a piece of art here...it's mostly a humoristic scene. i hope you've smiled :) Link to comment
Kostas Angelopoulos 0 Posted November 23, 2006 of course Yianni! I have this obsession to keep my ratio at 5/8 or square so thank you release me for this one :) cheers :) Link to comment
Kostas Angelopoulos 0 Posted November 23, 2006 thank you for your comments babi. thanks for stopping by. its in humor category. Suits case! :) Link to comment
manthy m 0 Posted November 23, 2006 I agree with Yianni! i need a bit focus on the suitcase, as at the beginning it coud even look like an umbrella. Well done though. I like the fact that both men cover themselves/the effect of rain as well. congrats Link to comment
Kostas Angelopoulos 0 Posted November 23, 2006 thank you Manthy! by the way, i hope you had your umbrella today...:) Link to comment
sallycd 0 Posted November 24, 2006 It's humorous in a way. I can relate on this very well and reminded me of that sudden burst of rain when we were walking at the middle of the Arlington Memorial Park.Nowhere to hide for cover. Link to comment
azenall 0 Posted November 25, 2006 A good frame, no crop. I like it! but a little more DOF. Link to comment
Kostas Angelopoulos 0 Posted November 25, 2006 Sally hi! thank you for take the time! Well Gerardo you're right but here is also the hole thing, just for more, let say, fun. Buy the way as soon as the downpoor stopped in Omonoia square at the center of Athens a lot of fortyniners came out like snails seeking around for anything as usual and a six feeted one came suddenly in front of my face with his open hand one inch away of my camera and told me: Wow! what a nice machine you got there! can i see it? :)) it was the faster volte-face in my life :)) cheers Link to comment
kobra 0 Posted February 8, 2007 I have also tried to make better cut and to expose a man with a suitcase. Aniway, I like photos like this one. Take a look in attachment Branko Link to comment
Kostas Angelopoulos 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Branko! thank you ! Its great what you've done there! the only thing is that we loose the green light! :)) Did you sharpen it any further with a software? Very nice that you took the time. Thank you so much. Greetings there! Kostas Link to comment
kobra 0 Posted February 11, 2007 It would be too much to clone because of traffic light (woman's feeet, garbage box) and, for me, composition wouldn't be that good. Yes, I put some extra USM and added a lightening effect to expose suitcase. Branko Link to comment
Kostas Angelopoulos 0 Posted February 11, 2007 yes yes, I agree. Thanks again my friend. I have to learn to put frames... Link to comment
vmar 2 Posted March 1, 2007 Very nice capture. I like it as it is, but the cropped version is nice also. Regards Vassilis. Link to comment
