I like your shot since it's simple and has one center of interest; the eyes don't wander around the frame. The broken fence in the distance and the debris on the ground are subordinate to the torn flag and augment it. congradulation.

At 5120 Huricane Street people still believe in American dream (or: male part of the family is in Iraq...). One more great documentary photo.

What I like about this image is that it can be viewed as symbolic of defiance in response to overwhelming circumstances, or as defeat to either those same circumstances or the general condition of America in general. Fine image.
