I currently live in Kabul, Afghanistan. I took this picture near my

home. The dichotomy of razor wire and the symbol of freedom seemed

poignant to me....

This is an interesting photo but I hope you will consider what message you convey when you create an image like this. "Fading Freedom" for a title makes your message very clear. In this case, is this what you believe (about USA? about the effort in Afghanistan?) or did you compose this to be provocative even though it is not what you really think? Choosing this particular nation's symbol (or some religious or ethnic symbol) and pairing with razor wire in this way can only send some negative remark on that nation (or faith or people group). Of course, you are free to do this (ironic?) but you are sending a clear message, and I want you to consider carefully when you create a composition like this. Cheers.

I love the meaning behind the photo... even before i read your comment about it. without getting too political I think this could be used in a stock library for years to come....
