I will regret this but I think the photographer needs to sit after the child for a check up. I really would have enjoyed this shot with tighter focus. Great idea.

so funny, we were both there to get our eyes checked! So I did sit after her:)

Thanks for stopping by! I think she thought it was pretty horrific when he put the de-focus drops in her eyes! She's a good sport though, my best "model"!

If he looks anything like his sister he's a cutey! She looks so "Hollywood" in her shades and bless her heart she looks like she's taking it all in stride.

Yes, he is cute, there are pictures of him in my portfolio...she was wearing the big glasses for an eye test, but they do look cool, don't they? :-)

A fantastic b/w (even better had doctor eye doctor been in focus - maybe he needs glasses)This is a great image! The blacks are black, the whites are white and every grey in between has their own distintive shade. Not to mention the fantstic subject matter. Like your Needful Things - it is sooo original! I always wanted to take a pic of the dentist leaning over me.. one of these days!

The reason that he is not in focus is he was sliding his chair between a table and over to Shannon, he was actually doing the eye test here and did not even know that I took this. This is one of my personal favorites. Thank you for taking the time to do a retrospective of my work!
