beng 0 Posted November 17, 2006 First of all I would like to thank Marcela, the silver lady, who let me take a lot of beautiful portraits while she was taking a well deserved rest. Thanks for viewing and any comment ( photographical critique ) welcome, but please no comment about the person, except that she is a pretty lady ). Link to comment
beng 0 Posted November 18, 2006 Thanks for visiting. No PS trick, only the usual level, curve etcs. and cropping in PS. I took hundreds of photos from this lady at Covent Garden London. She is a street performer and I took snapshots while she was taking a rest, after a while she saw me taking her pictures, but she was so nice to let me take more pictures of her. I will post more of the series. Link to comment

tanyatruong 0 Posted November 21, 2006 Lovely series of the silver lady. She is beautiful and expressive, i can't decide which one i like most. I decide to comment on this one for many reasons. Primaryly, her pose makes her distant from the viewer; yet, sweetly comtemplating on herself that we all can relate to. And, her natural, gentle expression illuminates through the cold, silver "mask" brings about an imerse, interesting contradiction. It holds my thought very long eventhough it's only a "snapshot" like you have mentioned. Composition is awesome. Beng, you are such a natural document photographer. My admiration. Warm regards, Tanya. Link to comment
beng 0 Posted November 21, 2006 for leaving comments. Besides this silver lady I took also snapshots of 6 other performers at the same street, but the natural expression of this "silver lady" and the position of the sunlight made me more interested in this one. But maybe I will replace several photos of this silver lady with several other performers and let me know what you think. I would appreciate any critique for improvement, maybe some tips on improving the images with PS. I am still learning to work with PS and cannot do complicated things. Link to comment
