Great photo Mark. This is my backyard. I live in Kalispell. I am trying to remember what kind of fire season we had in 1999 because I see a smokey skyline in this image. I like your photos of Kintla Lake also. Again, nice shot and impressive gallery. Fred

Thanks Chris, Kim and Fred for looking. You are observing some smog which actually helps tone down the distant mountains. The smoke that year was only the result of smaller controlled burns as I recall.

Looks very beautiful and calm. The absence of clouds particularly adds to this image. I wish the trees were greener in this picture.

How serene this image is! I fell the morning coolness, the peace. I would use a wider angle lens, to show more of the foreground, the crystal clear water, the pebbles in the bottom of the lake.
