Great photo- most of all, you show a great deal of imagination and the expertise to put it all together!

This is so awsome!! I am sorry I can't comment technically - I just know I love it. If I would hang it on my wall, then it's worth commenting on. I would definately hang this on my wall! Well done!!

Ernst, Miguel: thank you!

Bill: thanks, and I should say this time the photo is not a composite -- so the composition is not my credit, but my sheer luck ;)

Szabolcs: thank you, I'm glad :)

Chuck: actually, the dark spot(s) was intended -- I really wanted to create the atmosphere of the past where the car belongs.. Dark spots in photos show that it's not another fantastically retouched 'marvellous landscape', but something to evoke some thoughts -- that's just my point of view :) . Thank you for the comment!

Jan: ha-ha, let's leave commenting technically to the professional photographers :)) (cause my camera is hard to blame -- with its 'features' it does all it can, literally :))) .. ) Seriously, I'm happy when people comment some emotional state, not the bare technique. Cause sometimes I see a technically bad photo but love it anyway, more than a 'perfect' one :)) .. And..... (confused) oh... on the wall... thank you, that's an honor to me ;)) !

Calin: you're right, the atmosphere becomes retro-like just as soon as you see the car :) . The dark spots, as I explained above, are the part of the retro game.. but if you think they're so distracting, I'll try to work on them too!

THANKS TO EVERYONE!!!!

The car's windshield separates you from the broother, who is performing for

you, like an actor in a 60's Hollywood drive-in theater. The show is for

you, but it's just a show, a sour performance, as evidenced by the sour colors.

You chose these emotionally sour colors and for me, that feeling is the way I am affected by this photo. Sour, separation, and a show intended to be fun, playful,

and upbeat. It's a very good work of art and I won't rate it, because ratings are goofy and meaningless, because most of the people doing the ratings, do not even know who Kandinsky is. Anyway, thanks for showing this to us. -dooglas

This is such a charming capture. It has a real old-time feel through your processing and the setting. The smile on the face of the older brother brings such joy to this shot. Though harder to see the joy of the little boy is apparent too. Thanks for sharing.

How could one not like it? It is so full of joy and old time by two subjects car and people. Colouring adds some surrealism to this photo. See you have left space (for text) in upper part... So I like it, too. No ratings, a s l a

Another strange fable, made by the usual skill to manage tones and endless creativity.

Congratulations.

Dear friends, sorry I don't reply to each of you personally, just am too short of time for good comments, but I want to thank you all, for really beautiful thoughts and interpretations, I'm happy you like the pic! Thanks for those who gave no ratings, just wrote comments too -- cause you're right, my only purpose was to see the general reaction, including the anonymous rates :) . THANK YOUUUUU!!!!!!!

I want to joint those that have expressed their admiration for your work in general and this photo in particular. I like the mixture of feelings of a seriously prepared scene and a snapshot, creating an intimacy of the relationship between the photographer and the "brother(s)". In terms of composition I'm not sure I would have chosen to include the big negative space above the windscreen and neither the shadow to the right. The general result of is all is however highly impressive.

Anders: thank you for the comment! Well, as for the composition, the scene wasn't actually planned, I shot them by accident like this, initially I was only going to take a pic of the car and the scenery.. So I'm not sure I could possibly crop the top without breaking the whole composition :) ..The shadow was added by me, I admit :) . Thank you for critique!!

...maybe I missed it somewhere, but since I am inlove with your work, I think you owe me a name of the program youre working in.
