andreas fischer 0 Posted November 7, 2006 @ Tomthank you @ Steel John thank you, yes its sylt and its also taken from that way just 2 days ago@all when i see that some people rate this picture 4 or lower...anonymus of course...then i think there must be many jealous people online at the momentphoto-net was a place where good pictures are apreciated, it seems that this changes more and more and that is sad addendum: the low 3/3 ratings vanished...thats strange Link to comment

ben.goossens 0 Posted November 11, 2006 Excelent atmosphere, composition and colors... well done, Andreas:-)) If I may... a little advise: I would transform the image a little, so the lighthouse is perfectly vertical. Regards, ben Link to comment
andreas fischer 0 Posted November 15, 2006 Hi Ben...thank you you are right, the lighthouse did need some attentioni just took this picture to demonstrate something to my students on the cams display and so i didnt take time to composecause i liked the picture i optimized it and also used it for a online tutorial for my students this picture above was just a first, fast version and i was working on the picture again. of course i also transformed the lighthouse..if u want u can see it here in the little tutorial i worte, u need to scroll down, the final picture is at the end of the tutorialAnleitung-gestaltung-bildaufteilung-lpc Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Wonderfully peaceful image. I'd love to be able to read your tutorial, but sadly I know no other language, English is it :( I get the idea though from the images you posted. I love the color, the variation in the sky, the gentle movement of the foreground diagonally & the placement of the Lighthouse within the image. The image feels well balanced. I can almost feel the gentle breeze blowing on my face. Well done! Link to comment
andreas fischer 0 Posted November 28, 2006 Thank you Jayme its sad that u cant read the text, specialy because it not only explain for beginners(you dont need this) how to arrange a picture, it also shows that experiance helps to arange pictures, without the need to think aboutfact ist that i took this shots just very quickley just for a short demonstaration at the cameras display, but at the end one or two realy nice pictures came out of this (you also dont need to read this but i would have liked to know your opinion about it)anyway... for you and all the other people "who dont need to learn other languages" because your language is spoken everywhere (i mean natural english speakers) (even if its wonderfull to speak and understand other languages, i cant learn enough)...try google its everything esle than perfect, most times its just funny what the robot makes out of the text, but sometimes its usefull...and at least u will be able to read some english wich is even funnier than mine ;-)the funny google translaterjust copy : http://www.luebeck-photo.com/anleitung-fotografie/gestaltung/bildaufteilung-horizont.html into it and adjust it to german to english Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted December 1, 2006 What a neat tool. I did use it to read your article. While some of the translation was a little strange :), it was accurate enough to get the main information across. It was very educational. Full of ideas & information. Thank you for taking the time to share with me. I enjoyed it :) It explained to me the "why" of why I like some images better than others. Sometimes I just don't exactly know why I like something. I try to figure it out. Your article gave me some wonderful incite into my "whys". Thank you :) Language can be such a barrier, but Art is so universal :) Link to comment
