Mike Marcotte 50,753 Posted July 13, 2007 Ed, this picture is one of the most interesting in you portfolio. The image is a little soft, but the subject matter more than makes up for it. A wise old photographer/genius once said " there is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept" Also, I like your bio pic. Very appropriate for a man from New Hampshire to be photographed amid granite. Well done sir & a very nice bunch of pictures you've made. Link to comment
evb 0 Posted July 13, 2007 Mike, thanks for your comments. This is also one of my favorite images -- I have a print hanging in the living room. This is a scanned 35mm negative, so there may be some loss of detail there. The depth of field is also quite small. That bio pic was taken some years ago during a hike up Mount Washington, long before I lived in New Hampshire. So it is indeed New Hampshire granite! Link to comment
