lorin99 0 Posted June 22, 2002 I've never been able to capture a sunset in the way I'd like. This is the closest I've come. It's a bonus that I was able to get my husband and son in the shot. I would love your input (good and bad, of course). Thanks! Link to comment
jud 0 Posted March 1, 2003 A brilliantly colored sky with unusual cloud patterns is often what makes or breaks a sunset shot. In this case, the colors are nice golden hues, but the clouds, horizontal waves and forground are relatively typical. Your silhouttes could add a lot, but (at least on my monitor) they blend into the beach and the waves (particularly the child) and hence loose some of their power. By moving closer and/or positioning your camera at a lower angle, you could have gotten them to stand out against the sky. Keep shooting the things that you find beautiful and interesting, and your results will improve. Best regards, Jud Link to comment
