LindaM 2 Posted October 29, 2006 thank you Bill and Mathius. Bill, i personally like the mood the colors give this. i have played with converting it to black and white at your suggestion, but i just don't think it works as well. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Ooh, Linda - a couple that seem a little bit outside of your typical. I like this a lot ... you conveyed the stormy feeling very well. I like the sepia tones, too. Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted November 3, 2006 thanks LouAnn. these are different from what i usually do. i have been playing with layers and masks to get some different effects. i really wanted to create a mood with this one. i would like to do more of these when i have the time. the south is full of interesting buildings, in various states of disrepair or decay. they make for some interesting textures and stories. of course, i will continue to shoot the other images as well :-) Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 31, 2007 I don't know how I managed to miss this when you first posted it but it's a great picture. Stormy weather is right, looks like the whole kit and kaboodle is about to sail off to the next county. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted February 24, 2007 I am very fond of this kind of light, sky and lowly lighted colors (in the sense of unagressive colors)...I also like contrasted and flashy ones but those here are special as it bring a kind of quiet yet powerful ambience...the powerful calm before or after the storm should I call it...a very nice image. Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted August 14, 2007 Your pictures of the South recall to me the works of Walker Evans. This is a finely toned and exposed photograph, one of my favorite in your portfolio. Link to comment
