henrimanguy 0 Posted October 24, 2006 I feel very well in this quiet and beautiful composition. I rarely give 7/7 and I give it here. Now, I can't say why. It is my feeling. There is something rare here. Link to comment

rafikrkamel 1 Posted October 25, 2006 Lovely lightng with a mystique touch, however imho i would have loved to see a human being standing near the right end of the door with his back to the camera, just my honest thought, bravo anyhow, regards, RK! Link to comment
rpeck 0 Posted October 25, 2006 The lighting is great, and the scene really looks good. The only thing I can see is that I might have composed a slight bit higher to make the light come closer to the bottom left corner of the frame. That's a pretty tiny thing, and overall the image is excellent. Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted April 2, 2007 A very powerful and evocative shot. The way you handle the extreme light contrasts in this image is just superb. A first rate piece of art. Link to comment
gregovski 0 Posted April 24, 2007 I can't focus on the technical side of that shot (there would be a couple :)) ) - I simply look and look... Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted April 29, 2007 Wow! Incredibly beautiful. I can't understand why someone would write that the subject is not interesting or that it needs a person in it to liven it up. It has the footpath and handrail to suggest the presence of people--that's enough. The sunshine streaming in brings a sense of temperature into the photo: one would sit on the bench and warm up some days with a shower of warming sunshine, for the building is probably sometimes chilly. On other days, I imagine, the dark shade in the building would be quite a relief from summer heat. The blue door, of course, wards off the evil spirits. When I think of the word bucolic--this is it!
