OZ is Australia. She was sitting in a cove and I made a decision that this was the place to be for the afternoon. The lighting is reflected sunlight, shot on Ektachrome 100 with an OM-2s, Tokina 500mm mirror lens, hand-held around 1/60th. This is a full-frame rendition of the slide.

Your photos are something to be proud of I love the butterflies .. I could not pass this shot of the gorrilla without making comment. I haven't seen a better shot of a gorrilla The lighting is brilliant the clarity of the shot is great and the attitude of the gorrilla comes shining through as well .. I wish it was mine 7/7 from me Bill ..

The lighting is such that it looks like the gorilla has booked a photo shoot in your studio! Mind you I have had some clients like him!

Thanks Claire! I was fortunate to find my subject already sitting in front of a dark cave. Hey, I see you are an OM user. This was shot on an OM-2S, with a Tokina 500mm f/8 mirror lens.
