ryan_sholin 0 Posted March 20, 2002 Found this around a bend on I-25, pulled over to join the other ten cars on the shoulder shooting it. Link to comment
ryan_sholin 0 Posted March 23, 2002 Uh, ok - I've clarified the title to read "Came around a corner on the highway, cars WERE lined up on the shoulder shooting THIS sunset." I pulled over and got in line, to shoot the sunset, not the cars. Link to comment
victor_how 0 Posted April 9, 2002 Beautiful sunset ! Would be perfect if there is a human element :) Link to comment
matthias_brennwald 0 Posted April 16, 2002 The image quality doesen't impress me. Is it due to excessive JPEG-compression? Link to comment
ryan_sholin 0 Posted April 16, 2002 Well, it's Fuji 800 ASA shot through a Tamron 28-200 zoom probably full out at 200, handheld, leaning out the window of a car, with my head a couple feet away from trucks and buses on the Interstate. And a very, very, very old cheap scanner -- this is a proof scanned at 300 dpi, worked in PS, then saved as a JPEG, then sized to about 800x500 pixels. I've already worked this quite a bit to get all the magenta out of the blacks - there's still a little rim of tones there that could use work i suppose. Link to comment
