rina 0 Posted October 19, 2006 I would crop from the right side to get rid of the overexposed cloud, then from the bottom to get rid of the uninteresting foreground and to get the horizon out of the middle. I.E. from below about 25 %. Then a little more USM. You will see it looks much better. Interesting composition. Link to comment

anish 0 Posted October 19, 2006 i like the idea. i have a similar shot conceptually: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2814043 what you can do to make the image stronger, in my opinion, is remove elements that don't need to be there or don't help draw attention to what it is you want the viewer to focus on. the foreground does not add much here, so play around with some crops. also, from a compositional standpoint, i might've tried including more of the tree in the frame to help lead the viewer towards the highlighted peak. the branch appears to come out of nowhere here. good idea, though, and keep it up...
