This is a typical lodgepole pine stand in the interior of BC, Canada that is being harvested due to the major attack by the mountain pine beetle. Most of the lodgepole pine stands in the interior of BC have been attacked by these small insects. Capture from helicopter of active logging operation. Link to comment
