Really like this. Picture stands out lots, feel the rings are a little too prominent as they draw too much attention away from the eye but it adds to the image. Like the simplicity.

I love your black and white work. I think you work better in black and white than color. Your compositions are dynamic, you have a terrific grasp of light and shadow and your eye is impeccable. Terrific work!

Alexander--Thanks for kind words on my work. I think I "see" differently depending on whether I have color or black and white in the camera. With black and white, it tends to be oriented to form and tone, and I think stronger compositions result. In fact, if I desaturate favorite color shots, the compositions and contrasts tend to be weak. So it's something to work on, I guess.
