ivan stanic 0 Posted October 9, 2006 I think that it would be much better if you have shoot this in vertical format. It is obvious that this road goes high in the mountains and you cut it that it almost hurts. It would be much better to leave this road fade into the mountain or even in the cloud as shadow might suggest. Otherwise I like the colors and the point that you wanted to make but it would be much stronger with the rest of the mountain and the road. Link to comment
hugo tuffen 0 Posted October 9, 2006 i think the crop is good - the lake district is not the andes and it is good to leave the impression that the mountain could be much larger, when in fact it's not...great composition and a very original take on the lakes. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted October 16, 2006 Smashing shot.I like the crop as it is - the road takes up the full width. The telephoto compression works a treat on the hillside where the eye wanders around following the road and the valley. Link to comment
