Thanks for the comments. I believe the red spot is a flower from the tree above the fox.

Warren, very astute on your part. You are correct this is in fact an animal known as the Dhole (Cuon alpinus). It is a species of wild dog of the Canidae family. It is also known as the Asiatic Wild Dog; less known names include the Indian Wild Dog, the Red Dog, the Asiatic Dog, and the Whistling Hunter.

As you might have guessed it is not native to Canada or North America for that matter.
