Captured my attention immediately. I'm curious if the blur was added or modified post exposure because it almost appears a line was drawn in the sand with regard to the blur. Either way I like the picture. Regards.

Wonderful original composition ... I like the solitary flower, but more importantly the way that the flower tilts out of the frame is quite unique. Can you comment on any post processing? Thanks :-)

Thank you both for your comments. There was no post-processing done, other than to adjust levels and whatnot to represent the actual slide. I used quite a narrow depth of field to isolate the flower. This park has a sand-dune area that is teeming with these flowers. I saw this little guy all on his lonesome, and visualized this image. There was a butterfly sitting on the upper right petal for a half second, but he flew away just as I was tripping the shutter. Thanks again for your input.
