Brown Pelican

I like the subject (hard to go wrong with pelicans) and the framing is good but the print is far too light for my taste. The yellow of the head is too harsh and the feathers on the back are washed out. I think that darker would have brought out the colors much better.

Lastly, the head seems soft to me, as if just on the edge of focus, while the feathers on the back are sharp and crisp. I think I would have preferred the opposite.
