jlineen 5,681 Posted September 22, 2006 Classic composition, interesting foreground, well controlled exposure, great depth of field and nice colours.Maybe excluding the twig and blades of grass in the immediate foreground would be a minor improvement, maybe not. Link to comment

tobys bits 0 Posted September 22, 2006 Lovely capture. Very strong composition and the colours are beautiful and warm. For me the moon in the sky makes the shot. Congrats! Link to comment
jkadash 0 Posted September 22, 2006 Beatiful exposure! Did you use graduated filter? Curves? Link to comment
andrew gundershaug 0 Posted September 22, 2006 Thanks for the positive comments. AJ...the exposure was made using a Sing-Ray 3 Stop GND. I have been experimenting with combining exposures in Photoshop to achieve the same result... but so far I like the traditional GND filter BEST! Thanks for asking...Andrew Link to comment
sjmurray 33,973 Posted September 22, 2006 Very nicely composed postcard type shot! My only criticism is the darkness of the trees on the left; you've lost much of the detail there due to the GND filtering. Link to comment
jesus_ayala 0 Posted September 22, 2006 Beautiful done. Excellent control of light. Regards Link to comment
anish 0 Posted September 22, 2006 this is a beautiful image! it's true the GND filter will always render some areas dark when ridgelines aren't perfectly straight, so it comes down to choosing a particular area to be rendered a little dark. here you've managed to keep at least some detail in all the shadow areas, so the effect is hardly noticeable. well done!
