Most of humanity had to remember their sunsets, some have been able

to paint them, we can take a photograph of them, and then take our

photographs for granted. C&C

Strange and beautiful sunset. Good the balance between the black foreground and the light of the sky (blue!)- Ciao

Evening is one of my favorite times of the day, I love watching the sun go down and all seems well with the world. This sunset has some wonderful rays of light and golden colors. Thanks for the eCard, you're just too funny.

Thank you Susan and you are welcome. Evenings for me, usually mean, it won't be long and I'll be dead to the world. I'll try to cut back on the funny a tad. Take care of yourself. Hope you get a nice golden sunset this evening.

Well thank you for stopping by Alexandra. I'm glad to have your visit. As for my sunset, I'm sure a few other folks get to enjoy these sunsets although down in this river bottom it does often give a feeling of peaceful solitude. See you soon over at Andrea's page. I'm anxious to see how things are going there. I'm prepared for lots of smiles. Take care. ~Sky

Beautiful Sunset!

Love the rays beaming through.

Where in Texas is this sunset? Just a general question..east, west, north,.....south! I see an east Texas sunset every night.

Love the bio pic.

East Texas, well I'll be; I love fishin' at Caddo when I get the chance. This sunset here, you could see this sunset a bit West of Fort Worth, oh shoot, I bet you could see it from downtown Fort Worth on plenty of days. Glad you stopped by. Take care out there in the Piney Woods. I know the sunsets are nice out on the lakes out your way.

Nice, one of the best Ive seen!

I love sun sets, they remind me of mother natures way of reminding you, who's in charge of your day, her way of putting a period to the end of her chapter for this day!

Another way of looking at it is, this is the reward we receive for a day well lived!

Good to hear from you. Hope all is going good for you. How's that son doing in the service? Good, I trust.

This was a nice sunset. One of those I had to run grab the camera for. As usual, missed the best part of it. Guess you've been stacking up the miles. Must of been a busy Summer.

Well, hummm...

Days well spent...

when did 24 hours start going by in half the time? In fact, I may have miscalculated; It could be going by in a quarter of the time. I guess it's either: Short life, long days or Long life, short days... (grinning) You can't win for losing.

Hey, glad you stopped by. I'll get by and see your photos soon. Guess there's some ruckus going on here on Photo.net, several members are in a uproar and a bunch of censoring of comments is going on. I'm making a back up spot on Flickr.com in case this site goes South; although, I'd hate for it to. Well here's to that good evening. Hope you had one too. Take care. ~Sky
