lucas_griego 0 Posted March 9, 2002 Great tonal range here.Really picking up the subtleties on the surfaces here.. well done. Would like just a bit more breathing space on the left hand side crop. Maybe just a personal thing... other than that... Found it exceptional. ;-) Link to comment
denise_duhamel 0 Posted March 9, 2002 nice, but i think it could use a little breathing room too. just my personal preference though. Link to comment
keith_micoli 0 Posted March 10, 2002 Except for cropping off the bottom part of the flower and including the tip of the leaf on the right, this is really great. The detail and tone are excellent. Link to comment
danielbrock 0 Posted March 10, 2002 Nive macro work. I think that the whites in the image could be a little whiter. Starting to look a little flat. Link to comment
jmacneil 0 Posted March 11, 2002 stunning detail! daniel: who said the tulips were white in the first place? i think a higher contrast on them might make it look artificial Link to comment
mark_foglietta 0 Posted March 11, 2002 While other look for cropping adjustments I feel the close cropping creates a tension and abstractness to the shot. Leave it alone. Link to comment
alexo 9 Posted May 7, 2002 I agree with Mark. There are always ways to improve a shot, even a seemingly perfect one. Whereas there's room for improvement in this image as well, I think it's a very strong shot. It's strong compositionally, I like the tones (it's not flat) and textures. Very good work. hexenwolfe 0 Posted October 30, 2002 I prefer the B&W version of this image. The foliage is not so demanding of attention.I do think that it is cropped a little close. (I rarely criticize for being too close!) Beautiful textures! In B&W you want to reach and touch. Link to comment
