A request to you,

Please don't post this type of photograph in the future.

I don't agree with the comment above, death is a fact of life and is something that gets photographed all over the world every day (even more so recently!) but that's just my personal point of view, an image is there to provoke thought, and this one does.

 

Couple of questions.

 

What are the circumstances behind this image? How did it happen?

 

Was the money put there after or before?

 

A very powerfull image, works for me as an image but I would like to know more!!

I agree with Kaushik, we need less pictures of these evil monstruosities, these fabricated lies, these false representations of war and death and more photos of bright fluffy flowers. That, and sunsets! Goofuckingdy!

 

Once you got over the sarcasm, I too would like to know more about the picture. Captions are direly needed on photos like this one, never forget that!

 

Also, a tighter less centered crop on the once living kid and the now frozen doll would be more striking in my opinion.

The photo is powerful, but we need some information behind what is going on in this town, and why the child is dead. Also the reason for the money? Why is it there. Why is the child left to lay there? And is it real or is this some kind of demonstration?
