montystagner 0 Posted March 7, 2002 Nice. I like the somewhat muted colours and I don't remember seeing any other evening sky done this way. Good job. (nothing to do with the picture in any way but I would lose the date) Link to comment
richard_lowery 0 Posted March 7, 2002 ---salty, marine shots like this appeal to me. (Rat lines on a square rigger/)But as first commentor, --loose the date.!! Link to comment
bill_chaffins 0 Posted March 7, 2002 Would have loved to loose the date but had it turned on by accident and didn't notice it until they were processed. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. Bill Link to comment
billmagee 0 Posted March 7, 2002 I like the color, it is different. Usually I like a sunset with the suns brightness reduced by a cloud or being already below the horizon. The sun placed as it is in the rigging effetely reduced the brightness, nice job. Link to comment
marlene_degrood 0 Posted March 8, 2002 Nice to see a subject and some interest in the foreground of a sunset. I like this and really appreciate the composition. I have a personal dislike for sunsets unless the sunset merely adds to the image.....not *is* the image. Nice job! Just photoshop that date out. Link to comment
cpasfield 0 Posted March 15, 2002 I took some similar shots when I was on a Schooner in Maine but they didn't come out nearly as nice. What was the name of the boat you were on. I have several pictures taken from a schooner off the coast of main in my portfolio if you are interested. Link to comment
bill_chaffins 0 Posted March 15, 2002 I believe the ship was the Western Union, last of the tall ships built in Key West. It laid cable to Cuba and up the eastern coast. Link to comment
miles_hecker 0 Posted June 27, 2002 Nice compostion with the net well integrated into it. Just remove the date stamp as suggested! Link to comment
