distantvoice 0 Posted August 22, 2006 Pnina, this one is really extraordinary. The pose of the figure is just perfect and the simple striking colours work even better against the black background. You have got an abstract, thought-provoking photograph which looks like a piece of modern art... Sorry, it IS a piece of art. The best one of your teathre series. Link to comment

bens 0 Posted August 24, 2006 I love following the work of an artist such as yourself and seeing now and again the distillation of a mature and sophisticated thought process in one work. Here, the playfulness of your dance series, your love of light and color, come together to create something that leaps off the computer screen and dances around the room. Thinking of something constructive to say, perhaps a little less black space on either side so that the shot is more portrait than square, given the form of the dancer. But this is an exciting work, Pnina, very glad I stopped by. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 25, 2006 Ben, thank you very much for taking the time and your nice and kind words. About your suggestion, yes, it is a possibility and a good one, my intention here was to leave more negative space, but it still can be guarded if I will crop a bit from the right and left side. Thanks Ben, I appreciate it very much. Link to comment
dguindon 0 Posted August 26, 2006 Pnina, your so unique in your touch. I can't even imgine where the lighting is coming from. Resembles a neon sign in space, another great one..congrats! (can't see how to improve anything here) Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 26, 2006 Don, thanks for your kind comment. As it is a theatre situation the light is tricky ;-)), I worked in the dark and aimed the camera to the lighted places in a given moment that I chose of the situation. Link to comment

seven 0 Posted August 27, 2006 It's a wonderfully creative set up, Pnina; you have composed well and made the most of the negative space which provides a superb frame. I love the 'sunny' umbrella. Link to comment

blackdogstudio 1 Posted August 27, 2006 Great placement in frame. Beautiful blue raindrop!!! The concealed face adds mystery while the unbrella provides great contrast. The black background provides a fitting backdrop. A superb capture of colours and light. Regards, Kelvin. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted March 23, 2012 Look! I'm still around. This image popped up on the sidebar, and I had never seen it before. I am totally blown away by this one. The color is so appealing and the forms iconic. This is (IMHO) one of your best. Take care. Link to comment
