birds so fine 0 Posted March 7, 2002 On one hand you have your critical focus, probably automatic, on the tree in the foreground so the cliffs are a bit soft. You can manuelly focus when a near object seemingly off to the side reaches the middle focus box; or, you can use a tripod and make a timed exposure with the smallest possible aperture ( and slow long time). On the other hand, I love the way the cliffs look painted and the soft quality actually delights me. I hope I made a sharp point for those fixated on sharpness first always!!!! Link to comment
