It appears out of focus. It's an interesting composition; I can't decide whether i think it's too cluttered and busy, or it puts the model among the trees as its intention. I'm guessing this was taken in years past (my F2 Photomic was burglarized--I still mourn it.)

I think this is rather good myself. The out-of-focus elements provide depth. This image looks best and appears perfectly coherent when viewed from a distance. When viewed closer I found myself wanting to make a few minor changes. Cropping in from the top and the left simplifies things at those borders. Also a little dodging and burning might help - particularly lightening the model's face a tad. For your consideration...
