aepelbacher 0 Posted August 16, 2006 My personal favorite from the Nyhavn photos that I took. Your thoughts? Link to comment
rkynast 1 Posted August 17, 2006 I keep coming back to this, Lou Ann - I like it a lot. A very nice abstract/reflection. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Excellent effect. Can we say that it is a manipulated photo ? I am joking. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Thanks, gentlemen ... manipulation ... I can't imagine putting an image up here that's *not* manipulated even slightly. Isn't it funny what some people get upset about. :-) Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Great photo, Lou Ann. What gets it apart from the m similar ones is that open pane above. I just love it! Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted August 17, 2006 terrific Lou Ann!!! i love all of those moving reflections! how did you do that? Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted August 18, 2006 You know, Linda, that's a very good question. :-) I think that the glass was a different kind of glass ... but I'm not completely sure. What I DO know is that I didn't do anything but point my camera and shoot. :-) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted August 18, 2006 Pretty cool, Lou Ann. Very abstract and made my eyes hurt trying to focus! :) Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted August 18, 2006 Feels like one too many margaritas....in other words, dizzy and great! One of my favorites, as well. Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted August 19, 2006 I love this one...the flag really adds to this! Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted August 20, 2006 But the very same day you put this one up on Photo.net I was visiting the same place again. Haven't been there since we were there together ... and a gain I was fascinated of the beautiful reflections in those big windows tiled in squares ... and I just had to shoot them again. Not many are taking notice of the window reflections here - they are all pointing their cameras directly at the canal and the houses. You did good here .... and of course I love the flags here. Typical Danish. The building where the windows are placed is a famous art gallery/museum called Charlottenborg. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted August 20, 2006 The distortion of the reflection works really well, I like the way the end of the house curves in and the flag is excellent. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 20, 2006 This is pretty cool Lou Ann, buildings reflected are always pleasing in some bizarre way. PS, I'll be back tomorrow to leave some more crits - got a wriggling baby on my lap which is a little distracting just now :) Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted August 20, 2006 Lou Ann, I think this is the most beautiful window reflection I've ever seen..... I cannot help looking at those interestingly distorted reflections again and again.... and that single pane opened makes a nice touch to the composition. I love this pic a lot....!!! Link to comment
