Bon travail avec photoshop!

I've tried to create the effect of gondolas entering a painting. What

do you think?

I like the decision to watercolor the buildings but not the subjects in the water. Really creates a dreamy appearance... makes you wonder if the buildings are all in the imagination. Nice creative post-exposure work, including the borders.

I think you've succeeded at your goal. I'm not necessarily a fan of computer manipulation, but this is a very attractive scene, and looks like something right out of a Disney movie. (That's meant as a compliment).

The darkness and the tall buildings gives a 'closed-in' feeling. (Which I like in this photo)

This is a lovely view, quite a nice calm time of day too.

Lovely shot. Those blue colors are really blue, aren't they?

 

Personally, I hate the border, but that's a personal point.

Distracting border. This photo looks like it would have done well without the border.

Photo is nice, but a bit too dark, pariticularly in foreground. I find that the ragged edge really intrudes into the image, which already has a ragged quality with all the dark nooks and crannies.

I think you pushed reality a little too far here. I like the water-paint affect... but not on photographs.

Ivo, This is a very nice shot. I like the fact that you waited to include a foreground element. My only complaint to an otherwise strong photo is that it's a bit too contrasty for me. Best regards, --Dave

Peaceful and calm with the people in shadow but what they are looking at well colored and colorful

gives me the feeling they probably experienced.
