greg_smith14 0 Posted August 14, 2006 ...awesome, Roger! I can't fault it. I do, however, wonder what it might look like with more sky & less foreground. It comes across as a rather dramatic picture - the sky & the building. The centred horizon, however, seems to be attempting to convey a sense of tranquillity, peace & calm. The picture seems at odds with itself. Or maybe i just didn't get enough sleep last night... Like i said, it is a stunning capture and i can't fault it. 7/7 Link to comment

markboyer 0 Posted August 14, 2006 It is the perfect moment, with the setting sun reflecting on the side of the building, all surrounded by the deep vibrant blue. Great shot. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted August 14, 2006 The only cropping I might be tempted to do is the dark stone at the bottom - the others all have blue light cast on them. I find the balance of sky and foreground fine. The hous works well in this context. Beautiful work. Link to comment
