Yes, I have to agree this is a beautiful shot -- form, shape, tones, contrast, sharpness, facial expression, it has them all.

Wondering though, what if we give more space on the left to turn the frame from sq to landscape, would that be more dynamic? I am not sure yet, just my "what if" habbit working. lol.

Warm regards, Ray.

Thanks Alejandro, Jim, Thierry and Ray for your very generous feedback. Ray, you are absolutely right. It is confined - poor girl!!! It was shot in a tight space and next to a door with difficult light at the bottom of a stairwell. However, wanted to preserve the "6X6" format to accentuate the circular nature of her tutu and enlarging the square would have brought in unwanted objects from other sides. I have uploaded the original file for your review. Thanks again. Regards, Kelvin.

Beautiful shot and angle. The only thing that I find distracting is the bar behind her going to the left of the page. Becky

Very attractive and original composition. For some reason I keep wanting to see this with a horizontal, rather than square, crop. But in any event, it is a great photo.

Kelvin, I really like your dance images. Although it does seem tight, I don't mind it that way. Good choice on desturation. I really like the contrasts and the angle is great.

Lovely scene, Kelvin. Her pose and the light are unique. Transforming the original (color) to b&w was an excellent idea. A delight of atmosphere. Congrats!

The best out of the excellence. Angle of capture, tones and elegance. The square format works extremely well and the subject balance makes my eyes follow her body from the leg to her neck and up the arm where the light escapes. 7/7.

Thanks for uploading the original... Yes, 6x6 works in this case. BTW, I also like the color of the original. Warm regards. -- Ray
