single photos Alpine Pathway

This is a photo in late summer of Mount Eiger near Grindelwald in

Switzerland.

For a first post its a very good choice. May I say thou try cropping the bottom of the photo off just a bit, maybe upuntil the bump in the path.

Very nice picturisque shot. I do agree that it should be copped a bit.

I agree to the comments above. The mountains are beautiful indeed, but technically speaking, the photo is overexposed.

an inviting place. here's a slightly tighter crop, with curves/hightlights adjustments.

i like it as it is. DOF is very nice.i don,t think cropping would have done much to improve the overall feeling of dimentions. perhaps a little work on PS could have taken away some of the grayness, but it would also taken away some of the reallity of the shot. it,s simply a matter of taste.

Richard, you have been a member since March 14, 2005. Why have you waited so long to post. This is a beautiful photograph. Keep them coming. This is the reason many of us joined PN, to see beautiful work from around the world. Cheers.

Richard- this is a great photo. The person on the pathway really gives the viewer a sence of scale. Photoshop work, cropping etc might help, but really not necessary. Good job!
