To me the buckle seem to be inthe wrong position, it seems awkard to me.

 

Still, the picture makes me remember the sting....

To me this is one of the best kinds of photographs because of its utter simplicity and originality. I wish I was this imaginative, especially with every-day objects and scenes.

Frank, I think the position of the buckle in this photograph is precisely the point of the photograph, i.e, we're so used to having it in the "middle." That's why this is so striking, that it has been positioned to look like a snake.
