Don't understand why you haven't much more ratings than what you have at this time... This photo has an exceptional lighting, a very beauiful composition and deserves to be well rated ! You may suggest it to the critique ?

This is the Main Lodge at Antlers Camp located in the Adirondacks,

New York. The camp was designed by Architect W. W. Durant during the

turn of the century when many camps were constructed by New York City

habitants as a summer getaway. The camp now belongs to the State

Universtiy of New York at Cortland. It is used for an extensive

outdoor education program and other educational coursework. As

alumni, we go there for 4 day stays with the family. The buildings

are all constructed in the Adirondack vernacular, Wood log and

shingle style, Stone foundations with lazy porches with rockers.

Hope you can visit sometime. Brad

I like this image lots! The light on the floor in the shape of an x serves to lead the eye around the image. At first I thought maybe I'd like some more detail in the shadows on the left, and then I realized there was a deer mounted on the wall, so it's kind of a nice surprise! Good work!
