Marcus this is a great photograph. You captured wonderful expression and a what could be Joy or Terror or Both. I also think the lighting is very good. I would suggest a closer crop since the background in my opinion does not add to the photo , but instead draws the eye away from their faces. Thanks for sharing the photo, I will delete my crop if you wish.

I use to crop everything up to the subject matter but I feel that the subject has to exist withing a space and in this case, that space is what helps defines it.

The two guys in the back are part of this shot. You need a way and place in a photo to move for if you crop too tight, you get stuck. The depth is part of the dimension of this image. It creates movement and prevents it from being static.
