hansendj 0 Posted August 13, 2006 Wow! I really like this...its not something you really see often...one so sharp and the other so blurred by the movement. You were obviously doing a great job panning with the lead aircraft. This also looks so much like its air2air... is it? or did you manage this from the ground? Nicely done. Link to comment
alex_kew 0 Posted August 13, 2006 It was taken from the ground at Duxford, a famous old WWII fighter base, during the Flying Legends Airshow 2006. The Spit in the foreground is Merlin powered Mk.VIII, and in the background a Griffon powered Spit PR Mk.XIX with contra-rotating prop. It's taken me many airshows to get panning just right, and I was delighted to see how this one came out - I didn't see the bg Spit until reviewing the day's shots. Link to comment
daryl walter 0 Posted August 10, 2007 Hi Alex, you've got some great shots in your portfolio but this one is my favourite. Great shot! (A bit of a crop at the bottom maybe?). This would look great framed! Link to comment
