After setting up the pose for these sisters my area for taking the

final shot was over ridden by other photographers, so I when for an

angle shot of the sisters.

Fantastic photograph Michael and not an easy shot to make a success of. The frame works very well in this instance.

Well done.

Great portrait, very original. Great DOF for this. I also really like the framing which enhances the effect of perspective. Congrats.

I love it. Technically flawless, and one of those rare, natural images that make you feel good just by looking at them.

This is quite amazing. I am rather impressed with the parents of these ... quadrouples? well, not quite, cause they are only two separate sets of twins, right? But really amazing.

I really like how you composed the shot and the fact that they are in sepia I think adds to it. Despite that they are twins and supposed to be very similar, we see a world of difference in the personalities of each of them.

I like it quite a lot. Thank you for sharing!

and wonderful set of faces and expressions. The shift in the angles of the faces is effective also. (e.g. - left face tilts to the right, next face less so, face in middle of frame is more vertical, and left face tilts a bit the other way.) Well done!

(I'm not so fond of the face overlapping the frame thing - seems like a distraction in the case of such an effective photo.)

Thanks for sharing. I like how you made the frame enhance the image and focus attention on all the faces. Great detail and very interesting to view!

Michael you have a good feel how to take a good picture under uncontrolled conditions, which is the mark of a possible niche in editorial photography. To capture good images that capture the essence of your human subjects is quite gift. In Double Twins you captured their spirits and relationship. It is a wonderful portrait that vividly shows their relationship. More than that you have captured their spirits. It shows closeness, love and family. Your title Double Twins also supports the relationship. I am a retired graphic designer. I was always excited when a client would give me good photography to work with. My work was always guaranteed to look good when I was handed photos like your photo Double Twins. By cropping the sister on the left to extend out of the picture created movement of their spirit. I have uploaded your picture after I played with it in Photoshop. Playing with it was just like I use to do for so many years with other fine photographers photos for a layout design. I would have really produced a winning layout design with your photo. I hope you enjoy how I played with it. You personally have permission to use it to promote your work if you like. I just had fun playing with it! Thank you for producing such a wonderful portrait of these sisters. Please do more work like this!
