karina1 0 Posted February 17, 2002 I think it was a very good photo. Looks not so usual with that open mouth and close up! Really good, thats what I think. Link to comment
dave foster 0 Posted February 18, 2002 the most creative animal shot I've seen in a while. Link to comment
dmadden51 0 Posted February 20, 2002 The eye in the top left seems out of perspective because of the proximity to the subject. Throws the whole picture off for me. Link to comment
bob fowler 8 Posted February 25, 2002 I can almost smell the tuna! :-) The left eye isn't a problem for me, I just wish you had a tad more DOF to pull it more into focus. Link to comment
nickkesslerphotography 0 Posted March 5, 2002 yeah, i dont usually like animal pics, but good job!!!!!!! this is great. Link to comment
cy soto 0 Posted March 14, 2002 A very captivating shot. I would probably crop it a little bit on the left hand side to hide that eye. It is a bit distracting but it also ads some character to the animal. I'm not sure what to think about the eye... One thing I must ask: How did you get that cat to stay put for the photo? I have a cat myself (whom I have tried to photograph many times) and it is always very difficult to make it stay put for even one second. Please share your knowledge. Link to comment
teffy 0 Posted March 15, 2002 I, too, have trouble getting the cat to hold still for photos. But this time I got lucky with some accidental reverse psychology: I was photographing flowers in the dining room and paying no attention to the cat. He came to see what I was doing and the birds outside caught his attention. I turned the camera and got a couple pictures of him before he became self-conscious and left. ;-) Link to comment
SolaresLarrave 2 Posted March 19, 2002 That reverse psychology of yours... Will it work with squirrels? Great shot. I was fascinated. No problem with the left eye to me. It actually adds to the photo. Link to comment
erol_ata___nyc__nj 0 Posted March 24, 2002 I just love it. Just the perfect expression. I find the green eye as the focal point of this shot. Nicely done. Link to comment
tomsperduto 0 Posted May 15, 2002 Can't get much tighter. Love your composition. The sharpness of this photo makes it a winner. You could almost smell cat! Link to comment
